Antakshari Adda is a song-chain game. You type a song, your friend answers with a song that starts with its last sound. This page says exactly what the game keeps about you. We wrote it to be short because there is not much to say.

What we keep

• Your player name. You choose it. It is shown to the friends you play with and in the rankings. Please do not use your real full name if you do not want it shown.
• A random player number and a secret. The secret stays on your phone. We keep only a scrambled (hashed) copy so we can tell it is you.
• Your recovery code, if you make one. We keep only a scrambled copy. It lets you get your points back on a new phone.
• Your game. The songs and films you type, the points you earn, the times, the challenges you start or join, your language, and your place in the rankings.
• Notifications, only if you turn them on. We keep your phone's notification address (a push token), your phone type (iPhone or Android) and your language, so we can tell you when a friend answers.
• Your internet address (IP address) for a short time, only to stop spam and too many requests. It is deleted automatically within two days.

What we do not collect

• No phone number, email address, location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera.
• No advertising identifier. This version has no ads and no tracking or analytics tools from other companies.
• We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

Who else touches the data

• Cloudflare hosts the game and its database. Cloudflare also sees the internet address of every request, as every web host does.
• Expo delivers notifications if you turn them on.
• Song and film details in the game come from Wikipedia, Wikidata and MusicBrainz. They do not receive anything about you.

How long we keep it

Your game data stays as long as the game runs so your points and rankings keep working. You can ask us to delete your player at any time (see below). Internet addresses are deleted within two days.

Children

The game is for people aged 13 and over. It is not designed for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you think a child has used it, write to us and we will delete that player.

Your choices

• Turn notifications off in the app or in your phone settings.
• To see or delete your data, write to the address below with your player name. We will answer within 30 days.
• If you delete the app without saving your recovery code, your player cannot be recovered. That is by design: we hold no email or phone number to find you with.

Changes

If a later version adds advertising or any new kind of data, this page and the store privacy details will be updated before that version is released, and the app will tell you.
